Hello all from Nairobi, Kenya.
We were able to leave Namanga and drive to Nairobi for our flight tonight at 11:59 p.m. We were not able to go back to Tanzania to retrieve any of our things.
In going over our budgets for the last year, we are spending around $580 to print each trimester of our curriculum. Since there are five trimesters, that is approximately $2,900 a year for printing alone. We also have to print all the materials for the primary school for their national testing and many of their subjects.
This cost will increase for 2025 as we have added two new schools to our program. The people of Kenya are so hungry for God’s word. This will be approximately another hundred students we need curriculum for.
We have checked into buying a commercial printer by Canon.
We need to purchase this printer at a cost of $3,180. This would not only save us money for printing, but also for travel time to and from town to do the printing. (which includes two trips, one to deliver the original and one to pick up the finished product.)
We also need to buy the booklet makers at a small additional cost.
Domenic’s son, Erastus is a very capable computer man and he will be the one to do the printing for us.
We believe this would be a wise choice for our future.
Blessings to all.
