Fall has been a busy time of building in M’Takooja. The last classroom for the primary school is finally finished and construction of building the next phase of teacher’s housing is moving ahead. We have faced so many frustrating delays with getting materials for finishing the classroom, along with government regulations changing. Mollel has begun using a terrazo floor for the final finish on the cement floors becasue the cement floors have not been holding up. The process is more involved and again materials are always on back order. This floor was also used in the Multi-Purpose Building. Now we can finally say, “the last classroom is finished.” Work began on the new phase of apartments for the workers and teachers to live in while we were waiting on materials to finish the kids classroom. We have had two or more teachers and workers sharing living spaces. Happy, the kid’s Spiritual Pastor recently got married; and Innocent, our Head teacher, who also acts as one of Domenic’s assistants, was married too. They need private places to live. We have lost many good teachers, that we have trained up in the ways of the Lord, because we didn’t have proper housing for them. The foundation for the teacher’s housing has been poured and the walls are up. There will be two self contained apartment and four units for single people, plus more rooms for bathing and toilets for both of the men and women. Harry has sent the funds for the roof. The cost to finish these six units is $21,000. We will finish Innocent’s house 1st and then the others as the funds come in. In Africa most all schools and businesses are closed in December. Mollel will be avaliable to oversee the roof and further construction while he has this time off. Rain has finally come to Tanzania and our garden looks amazing. Keep praying that the villagers crops will also flourish now too. We are excited with the growth we have seen, both physically and spiritually, in Kenya and here in M’Takooja. We see the Kingdom Advancing as we train up a new generation of leaders. For us personally Kathy will have a total knee replacement Dec 12th. She is beleiving that fixing this knee will take the pressure off other parts of her body and she will soon be able to travel again. Serving the Lord with great Joy, Harry & Kathy
